Played for the 70th anniversary celebrations at Taize (France) on the 20th August on their new Grenzing organ. It was a big thing for them as they haven't used an organ in their worship for some years - due to the fact that the previous organ got cooked by their heating system. We talked at length about what music to play as a prelude to the service (30 minutes) and decided that the music of Bach would be a good start. The community emailed me following the event to thank me and said that the reaction from the pilgrims was positive and that they were much quieter before the service. It was a real honour to play there and to be asked back as well!
